Heidi Brueggeman, Founder & Editor in Chief

Descending from generations of printers and publishers, Heidi’s love for print media is in the blood.  Heidi has found herself at proverbial crossroads to create Old Beach Journal with her experience working as a stylist, jewelry designer, antique dealer, and event planner.

Heidi Brueggeman, originally from the freshwater shores of Northeastern Ohio, made Newport her home at the start of the last millennium by way of Elon College and the Gulf Coast of Florida.  Detours to other states in recent years only amplified her love for this unique city-by-the-sea and led her back to settle in Newport permanently.
